Dr. Cornelia Nitipir

Dr. Cornelia Nitipir is Doctor in Medical Science, Oncology Attending Doctor, Chief of the Medical Oncology Unit and Coordinator of the Radiotherapy Unit – ‘Elias’ Univeristary Emergency Hospital, Lecturer at the University of Medicine and Farmacy ‘Carol Davila’..

She graduated in 1994 the University of Medicine and Farmacy ‘Carol Davila’, the Faculty of General Medicine. Was resident doctor at the Bucharest Oncologic Institute ‘Dr. Alexandru Trestioreanu’ , General Oncology and Chemotherapy during 1995 – 2000, and in the year 1999 she becomes Fellow Physician in General Medical Oncology and Chemotherapy, so that afterwards in 2004 to obtain the Attending Physician degree and in 2006 to finish the Doctorate in Medical Science for Medical Oncology.

Being in a continuous process of improving, she obtains Competence in General Echography in 2001, and in 2004 Competence for Palliative Care, and in 2005 she specializes in Breast Imagistic and Health Services Management.

In 2006 she obtains an internship for Diagnosis and Medical Oncology Therapy at the famous AKH Universitary Hospital (The University Hospital, Allgemeines Krankenhaus).

Is member of many more organizations of profile like, European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO), American Society of Medical Oncology (ASCO), European Association for Cancer Research (EACR) and the National Society of Medical Oncology from Romania (SNOMR).

Dr. Nitipir’s scientific activity includes the statute of reviewer for the PLIATIA Magazine ISSN 1844 – 7058 – BDI international magazine (EBSCO’s database products, SCIPIO), MODERN MEDICINE magazine ISSN1223-0472; BDI (EBSCO and Index Copernicus) CNCS B+ Category Journal. She made and coordinated over 132 scientific works and specialty articles, including over 14 books and brochures of reference.
